Are there any foods you eat that are not organic? If so, why did you pick those particular foods?

I do not always buy organic produce; for example, I don't buy organic oranges or bananas. They aren't available here and have thick skins, so I don't worry as much.

Some kinds of food aren't available organically but I choose organic wherever possible. The bakery where I buy pastries for instance, bakes using organic flour and sugar but other ingredients may not be organic.
It would be nice if all the produce available was pesticide-free, wouldn't it? But since that isn't the case, yes, like you I don't worry too much about bananas and oranges. Onions and potatoes don't make me lose too much sleep. Mangos and avocados have thick skins, too. One you wouldn't think of are asparagus, because less pesticides are used on them (they have fewer pest threats). I've heard broccoli is another, but I haven't checked it out.
Your reasons make sense, and it would be daft to deprive yourself of bananas because they're not available. Someone sent me a list of fruit and vegetables which are considered fine to eat if not organic. Luckily asparagus is on it, as I love that.
